About the KFC Youth Foundation
The KFC Youth Foundation was established in 2015 to support young people across the UK. Today, we do this through three core programmes: our Community Grants Programme, Youth Hubs and Hatch employability programme.
Through our Community Grants Programme, we support grassroots youth organisations working in communities experiencing high levels of deprivation. Since 2020, we have awarded 724 grants worth more than £2.1 million, helping organisations provide safe spaces, opportunities to develop life skills and positive activities for young people.
Our Youth Hub in Middlesbrough provides a safe and welcoming space where young people can spend time, build relationships, try new things and access support from trusted youth workers. Since opening in 2025, the Hub has become an established part of our work supporting young people directly in their communities.
Through Hatch, we work in partnership with KFC to help young people develop skills, build confidence and gain meaningful experiences that can support them as they take steps towards employment and their future.
Since the Foundation was established, we have donated and awarded more than £10 million to support young people - and we're continuing to grow the ways we can make a difference.
